WHAT CAN $10 USD GET YOU IN AFGHANISTAN?
Today in Mazar-I-Sharif, Afghanistan — I bought 9 things for less than $10 USD! A turban, kebabs, shisha, rickshaw ride… and can you guess what else?!
Much like its neighboring countries of Iran and Pakistan, daily life expenses in Afghanistan are VERY CHEAP when compared to Western standards.
I had a lot of fun making this video around Afghanistan and I’m really enjoying this country so far. More than anything else, I hope that this video changes your perspectives about Afghanistan and shows you that life is existing here just like it does in your home country. And frankly, I find Afghan culture here to be the most untouched, raw and authentic in the world.
