Black Desert Online: Trade Run guide (The Basics)

In this Black Desert Online guide I will be explaining the basics of trade runs in this game. In BDO you can obtain a horse and wagon and purchase trade crates off of trade managers in various nodes and towns. The trading system in Black Desert is a lot of fun and great for passing time, I make some pretty decent money off of it.

[BDO] Grinding Effectively in Black Desert (How to Maximize Your Silver per Hour)

A guide on how to make millions of silver and maximize your XP per hour in Black Desert Online.

Quick Disclaimer: All silver per hour totals for a spot assume that at a minimum you’re using at least 5 t1 pets. Ideally at least 5 t3 but without 5 pets you’re not going to be earning even 1/2 of the hourly total other players are talking about.

The basics of grinding are:
1. Find a monster that suits your gearscore.
1b. Decide if you want silver, xp, or skillpoints more. Different mobs give different amounts of each.
2. Find an untaken rotation.
3. Murder the rotation for 1-∞ times.

Now those are the basics. However, there are a few things that a lot of players aren’t aware of that can make grinding much more efficient.

The first is don’t stop to pick up drops. That’s your pet’s job. If you kill a pack of 8 mobs and stop for 3 seconds to pick up 3 more items then your pets will refresh. You could have gone and killed another pack and your pets would all be able to pick up another 5 items. Your job as the player is to kill monsters. Your pets’ job is to pick up the loot. It’s all about division of duties.

Following on with that, you also don’t want to kill stragglers or go out of your way to kill small groups of monsters (2-3).Inevitably there will come times when you are grinding that you’ll leave 1-2 monsters in a group alive or aggro a roaming monster when moving between packs. When the choice is taking 5 seconds to head over to a small pack and oneshot them, or taking 5 seconds to head over to a regular pack of monsters and obliterate them all, you’ll gain much more xp/silver by choosing the big pack several dozen times an hour than you will killing the stragglers in those instances instead.

Use as many XP boosts as you can get. There are quite a few boosts that players don’t take advantage of that provide a hefty amount of extra experience when grinding. It’s easy to earn more than 6x the base XP when grinding using:
200% Daily Grinding Hour
100% Weekend XP Boost
100% Golden Bell
50% Nighttime Boost
50% Combat Book/XP Scroll
20% Beast Draught
10% Simple Cron Meal
10% Value Pack
10% Outfit
20% Helmet XP Crystals
Pets can give combat xp.
Energy to Black Spirit

In this video I go over the cheapest way to hit 450gs. It’s not that expensive, and it’s easier than many players think! Don’t worry about hitting it right away. Just focus on the pieces one by one and you’ll hit it eventually.
